Child Protection 

The Tennis Network is committed to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for children and young people to enjoy being coached and playing tennis.

We do this by:

• Taking responsibility for the children and young people in our care and all appropriate issues of child safety.
• Recognising that all children and young people, have the right to freedom from abuse and to be safe and secure.
• Ensuring that our coaching staff are CRB checked and taking responsibility for helping to prevent the abuse of children and young people in our care.
• Ensuring that users of the Tennis Network have specific programmes designated for them, with adequate supervision.
• By displaying this policy statement on our Website and urging all users and parents to be watchful for potential concerns.
• Responding swiftly, appropriately and with proper regard to confidentiality, to all suspicions or allegations of abuse or inappropriate behaviour and by providing parents and children with the opportunity to voice any concerns they may have.
• Ensuring confidentiality regarding any information on child protection issues.
• Continuing to review the effectiveness of our Child Protection Policy
